Bespoke research projects, test marketing, analysis, benchmarking and best practice comparison of islands has become the unique focus of Island Analysis.

CHRIS BROCK - Founder & Chief Executive

As Guernsey’s first Head of Policy Planning and Economics, Chris led a team which produced the Island’s first Strategic and Corporate Plan. Chris was Chief Executive of Guernsey Tourism for nine years. He spent five years as the Island’s Director of Postal Services overseeing a major rationalisation plan for Guernsey Post. Prior to that, he was the Island’s Director of Recreation for a five year period.

Dr MICHAELA de VIAL

Michaela heads up the Island Analysis research team. Having acquired experience within the pharmaceutical industry, she primarily brings with her a background of industrial data analysis, research and calculation. Michaela's core focus is the development and implementation of the Island Benchmark service for public and private sector organisations which have a direct interest in islands.

JOHN HOLLIS

John has 25 years' experience in consulting and research with Accenture, the leading global management consultancy, where he was a global partner for over fifteen years. He was responsible for the Retail and Consumer Products practice within the UK, and the Smart Store Europe R&D and benchmarking facility. He graduated from Bristol University with a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Accounting.

Dr ELAINE MONKHOUSE

Elaine has over 15 years' experience as a change management consultant and 30 years business experience in all.  She has been responsible for several major benchmarking projects and has helped organisations to grasp the insights provided by research to improve performance.  Elaine holds a First Class degree in Management Sciences and a PhD in Non-Financial Performance Measurement.  


Chloe Le Poidevin
CHLOE LE POIDEVIN

Chloe has four years experience in marketing and digital design. With her multidiciplinary background in IT, she contributes to bespoke research and benchmarking projects, marketing and design roles within the company. Chloe has a First Class masters degree in Product Design from the University of Leeds.

JAMES TRAVERS

As Research Analyst, James concentrates on the Island Analysis Benchmarking Monitors which cover a wide range of economic, social and environmental indicators. He also is involved in bespoke research work for public and private sector clients. James graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Economics.
