Review of Island Economic Development Strategies

Island Retail Monitor
Want to know how the retail sector on Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man is performing? Island Analysis releases a new series of retail monitors at regular intervals throughout the year. These reports highlight quarterly trends, benchmark these trends between the three islands, and emphasise differences between Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man with the United Kingdom.
Island Economics Monitor
We are launching a new monthly 'Island Economics Monitor' in January 2011 which will benchmark 14 islands worldwide. Each Monitor release will cover one of 12 fundamental topics in the islands including tourism, infrastructure, government budgets, economic strategies and energy. Contact james@islandanalysis.com to request a free copy of the first release 'Economic Strategies'.
Disaster Provisioning in Islands
We are currently undertaking research into Disaster Provisioning in Islands, inviting up to 50 islands worldwide to take part in the project, which will comment on key problems facing island communities in terms of natural and man-made disasters. These findings will be of specific interest to all public and private sector organisations with direct and indirect island interest in disaster planning and the best practice adopted.
